Keep an eye out for a pink Winnebago as it travels from Brisbane to Sydney this September as part of the National Breast Cancer Foundation’s Breakfast Tour.
Winebago’s ‘Pink Minnie” caravan is the host vehicle for the Foundation’s two-week road trip, which is intended to raise awareness and funds for vital breast cancer research.
One in eight Australian women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime, and sadly seven women die from breast cancer every day in Australia.
Winnebago RV CEO Luke Trouchet says the company is proud to be part of such an important cause, which is also being supported by Big 4 Holiday Parks, Ford, and CIL Caravan and RV Insurance.
“The National Breast Cancer Foundation does an incredible job of raising awareness, generating support and funding vital research towards achieving their goal of zero deaths from breast cancer by 2030 in Australia,” he says.
“Our iconic pink ‘Winnebago Minnie’ is the perfect host vehicle for the 2015 NBCF Pink Minnie Breakfast Tour, and we are proud to send it off travelling this month – please join in a breakfast at one of the supporting Big 4 holiday parks and donate via the special campaign website www.pinkminnie.com.au.”
The NBCF Pink Minnie Breakfast Tour from launches on the Gold Coast on September 19 at the Gold Coast Turf Club race club’s ‘Pink Ribbon Cup’.
