Launched in July, Hayman Reese’s new CompactIQ™ is a smarter ‘proportional’ version of Hayman Reese’s ‘time-activated’ Compact™ brake control unit.

Developed to make it easier and less intrusive to install, the new CompactIQ™ provides greater control in braking situations. Proportional systems determine a tow vehicle’s rate of deceleration and apply caravan or trailer brakes to match.

Unlike the Compact™ unit, the CompactIQ™ has only one dial and LED light. This means installation is less intrusive, with the device able to be mounted in a spare switch panel rather than through the dashboard or centre console.
