The NSW Caravan and Camping Industry Association has awarded the best of the industry at a gala event on Sydney Harbour.

Held aboard a Sydney Showboat on October 13, the Awards of Excellence 2015 highlighted the state’s amazing holiday parks and residential communities, quality dealerships and service providers, and NSW manufacturers.

Ballina-based manufacturer Horizon Motorhomes and BIG4 Koala Shores Holiday Park in Port Stephens were the big winners, each awarded as the Best of the Best.

Other winners included Sydney RV Group, who took our the award for Best NSW Dealer in Sydney, All Parks Insurance for Best NSW Industry Service Provider, and Cub Campers for Best NSW manufacturer Caravans, Camper Trailers & Tents.

Peter Upton from Lake Conjola Entrance Holiday Park was named Employee of the Year, with North Coast Holiday Parks’ Amber Kolo named Young Employee Of The Year.

“NSW is the most popular caravan and camping destination in Australia and today we are celebrating our success,” said Theo Whitmont, President of Caravan & Camping Industry Association of NSW.

“Each year we have an amazing line up of entries for our Awards of Excellence program, and it really shows just what a fantastic caravan, camping and land lease living experiences that we have here in NSW.”
