The Margaret River Pro had been on hold for the majority of last week with organisers holding out for ideal conditions. Tyler Wright eliminated California’s Sage Erikson to guarantee an all Australian final between herself and Sally Fitzgibbons. The women have known each other since they were nine years old, growing up on the NSW South Coast. “The waves were a little trickier towards the end there and I just didn’t get a clean line,” Wright tells the ABC. “But I am stoked for Sally to come away with the win.” The men’s final will be finalised come Sunday ahead of the next event at Bels Beach, Victoria.   Tyler was interviewed for Issue 24 of ROAM, we wish to congratulate her on placing!
