Welcome to another great edition of Time To Roam. Issue 29 is packed full of great summer travel advice, unbiased caravan and camper reviews, and some of the most interesting caravanning stories from Australia’s camping history.

This edition, we travel to some of southern Australia’s best summer camping locations enjoying the freedom of choice offered on South Australia’s Yorke Peninsula and Esperance in WA. We also preview the amazing Griffith Spring Fest – one of regional NSW’s best country festivals.
While we were at it, we put three great RVs to the test – the Elite Goulburn off-road caravan, the Frontline Hiace Adventurer campervan, and Cub Campers best value rear-fold camper – the Daintree.
We also look into the history of the caravan industry in south east Queensland and the one man who’s been behind its biggest changes over five decades. There’s also an excellent feature on a 1969 Chesney Regal that’s been restored to better than new condition.
