It’s been a while between drinks, but we are back on track with Time to Roam caravan magazine. A big thank you to all our subscribers for your patience and understanding over the last few months.
I am pleased to let everyone know that Issue 46 is nearly completed, and will be at the printer very soon. This means you should have it in your mailbox early to mid-March, and in newsagents shortly after that.
Like many other travel-related businesses in Australia, Time to Roam was hit hard in 2020 by the Covid lockdowns and border closures. We were initially hoping that we would be able to publish another issue before Christmas last year, however it just wasn’t viable at that time. That means that instead of publishing six issues in 2020, we only managed to publish three; issues 43, 44 and 45.
Let me assure everyone that has paid for a subscription, that you won’t miss out on any issues or lose any money. We will not be skipping any issue numbers, it will however take a few months longer than anticipated to complete your current subscriptions. That being said, if anyone is unhappy with the delays, they can contact us via email at and we can organise a refund for you. We are still catching up on some correspondence from those who enquired on the current status of their subscription asking if they needed to renew. We should be fully caught up over the coming weeks.
Our magazine release schedule for the next 12 months is:
Issue 46 – On sale early March 2021
Issue 47 – On sale early May 2021
Issue 48 – on sale early July 2021
Issue 49 – On sale early September 2021
Issue 50 – On sale early November 2021
Issue 51 – On sale early January 2022

As a subscriber I haven’t received issue 46 and it’s now April 2021! I have tried ringing and emailing the publishers and despite leaving messages and requesting responses I have heard absolutely nothing !

If you are unable to put out issue 46 when say you will does this mean what you print in the magazine is also questionable?
Ray
Subscribed in January and yet to see a single copy

I also renewed my subscription in January and still have not received any issues! No reply to my email enquiry either. I am highly suspicious of the excuses given for the delay in deliveries. The website has not been updated for a long time which leads me to believe it is all over for them. Other magazines have managed to survive this downturn.

Received a prize of a year’s subscription to roam at the Vintage Caravan Nationals. Tried to enter the discount code on your subscription page and it did not recognise the code.
Advice please.

Can you please refund my subscription that was paid for 13 months ago?

I took out a 1 year subscription in August 2020 and have still not seen a single copy, even though I was told I would still get the 12 months of copies once they started up again

We subscribed in June 2021 and haven’t received a copy. Tried to make contact via phone and email and no response at this stage. Glad we only paid for three issues. We should be refunded our money if no issues have been received.

I subscribed on 9/4/2021 and likewise have never received a copy or any other information. Also, subscriptions are still being taken online. No response to emails. Sounds fraudulent to me, Think I might make a warning on fb.

Yes I’m in the same boat as others. I subscribed for 2 years at the Caravan and Camping show at Sandown Victoria earlier this year and have received nothing. I’ve sent 3 emails now to 2 different email addresses with no response. I’m contemplating contacting the ACCC to have this investigated. It’s poor form not to even respond to emails but take our money willingly.

Why are you still selling subscriptions? Caveat Emptor!
Peter Downes
Paid for one year subscription in March 2021 at Orange caravan show. Not one delivery, no response to emails or phone calls yet. Time To Roam was supposedly to be at this years Orange caravan show but they didn’t front up, lucky for them as it would have been a big showdown when I fronted them.
Thought all the crooks were from overseas not Australian.
